And Europe finally approves an open sky agreement with the US, promising more flights, cheaper fares, and more jobs for both sides of the Atlantic.

I have to say I don't agree with the Grand Canyon Skywalk - it's an eyesore and detracts from what is one of the world's natural/scenic spectacles. To plant something man-made that so clearly does not blend in is a mistake in my opinion. Tourists can appreciate the great views in many other ways.
On another tourism note is anyone else influenced in their travels by movies? eg. Scotland & Braveheart, The Bahamas & James Bond, New Zealand & Lord of the Rings, Thailand & The Beach, Tunisia & Star Wars.
